visualCVS license statement
visualCVS is a graphical front end program for the open source software cvs (Concurrent Version System). It encapsulates the command line options of cvs providing a front end
GUI-application.
All of the source code of visualCVS is written by SCENTECH AG. visualCVS is a proprietary product of SCENTECH AG.
For ease of installation the following open source programs have been incorporated within the visualCVS distribution:

cvs version 1.11.8 (concurrent version management)
The visualCVS distribution contains a compiled cvs core version 1.11.8 received from 
www.cvshome.org. The cvs core has not been modified. The source code is available at www.cvshome.org or it can be provided upon request.

cvs for NT version 2.0.11 (concurrent version management)
The visualCVS distribution for Windows contains a compiled cvs for NT version 2.0.11 received from www.cvsnt.org. The cvs core has not been modified. The source code is available at www.cvsnt.org or it can be provided upon request.

sc_rlog (rcs rlog version 5.7)
The visualCVS distribution contains a compiled version of the rcs rlog program (available at many sites). The rlog program has been patched. Please find the patch here. The source code is available at several sites or it can be provided upon request.
